Jeweler's Brass is a gold colored metal that is an alloy of Copper and Zinc.. Yellow Brass is a yellow metal that is an alloy of Copper and Zinc as well. It tarnishes and without care will turn a dark yellow. Brass can be cleaned with any commercially available brass cleaner. Most brass wire you will find is soft, but our brass is made of 1/2 hard temper which combines strength with workability.
Our brass rings are saw cut unless otherwise noted which makes for a clean cut. All rings are deburred, polished and cleaned. Saw cut rings are best for applications where you want to be very particular about the finished appearance of each ring for example jewelry. But use pliers with no teeth so you dont leave marks!
